Portia More
Portia More became a Franchisee of Smooth on 1 December 2022 when she bought WAXIT Irene Link.
Portia has enjoyed a 30 year plus career as a Military Practitioner gaining a wealth of experience in Operations and People Management. Having been responsible for Human Capital, Transformation and Cooperate Services for the South African Defence Force, Portia has always had a passion for people and dedication to serving. After committing her life to the military, Portia wanted to pursue a new career and start afresh, especially after losing her husband who was her best friend, which led her to WAXIT. When she first walked into a WAXIT she fell in love with the concept, business model, the Brand and the people, which led to her decision and excitement to join the Team of Smooth.
Hobbies: Portia enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, flower arranging and going to the Gym.
