Estelle Roets

We welcomed Estelle Roets as our new Franchisee of Smooth of WAXIT Douglasdale in August 2023. 

Estelle had been playing with the idea of owning a franchise coffee shop until she became a customer at WAXIT – it suddenly occurred to her that this was the opportunity she was looking for. After a chat with her husband, the ball started rolling and they haven’t looked back since!

Estelle started her career straight after high school, and she climbed the corporate ladder in the shipping and supply chain since. 5 years ago, she decided to start her own business with her husband De Wet who is a qualified CA. They love working together and being self-employed as it given them the freedom to enjoy their blended family. Estelle is mom to a beautiful twin boy and girl (16) and further blessed by being a mom to De Wet’s daughter (21) and son (18). Outside of her family life, Estelle is extremely passionate about her business, including her clients and suppliers whom she values and appreciates every day. To balance work and family she loves taking some me time by going out for long runs. Estelle recently completed her first Two Oceans Ultra Marathon and is inspired to continue to work hard to run Comrades.
