Julie Hyams

Julie has a degree in Industrial Psychology and a Post Grad in Marketing Management.  She worked in the corporate sector for many years as the Marketing and Communications Manager for a large international company before taking time out to be a stay-at-home Mum and raise her two amazing children.  Julie says that every moment she got to spend with them and watch them grow into unique individuals has been an absolute blessing.

We have kept WAXIT Lonehill in the family - Julie is WAXIT’s founder Michelle Royston’s sister-in-law. Julie has known and followed WAXIT Lonehill since it first opened 7 years ago.  When the opportunity arose, Julie realized she wanted to become part of the WAXIT brand as a Franchisee of Smooth. She loves the professionalism, the welcoming staff and the cleanliness and serenity of the environment created instore – yes, serenity even when the amazing therapists are ripping out all those unwanted hairs to give you that feeling of “smooth” we have all grown to love.

𝗛𝗼𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀: When she is not playing Mum’s Taxi, Julie loves to read, socialize, spend time with her dogs and ride her horse.  Animals have always played a really big part in Julie’s life – it’s her favourite kind of therapy!
